Proof of concept

The value proposition of Madebloque

The Cocun Project is the sum of our capabilities. It is our future showroom, where we unify and test our entire model in a real case.

Connecting stakeholders

We coordinate mass timber producers, structural engineers, architects (Contrahuella, Albor Studio) and operators (Nabilera) into a single integrated ecosystem.

Technology & Integration

Coordinated BIM modeling in Speckle and administrative management in Odoo ERP for absolute real-time financial and physical traceability.

Sustainability & Impact

Quantifying embodied and biogenic carbon according to the CASA and EDGE standards, laying the groundwork for green financing and credits.

Comfort & Bioclimatics

Superior thermal performance, indoor air quality, biophilic design and carbon regulations that position the asset in the high-value market.

In Cocun we test the reliability of our budgets and assembly speed. We are currently structuring the trust and preparing the launch of the official fiduciary rights for investors and allies. The only thing we sell today is real expectation backed by data.

Life cycle tracking

Preconstruction, construction, operation and deconstruction

We promote timber buildings that respond to modern challenges of design, execution, cost and sustainability, tracking carbon footprint at each phase as a way to respond to the challenge of building net-zero.

01

Preconstruction

Model BIM coordinated model, cost and timeline scenarios, baseline of embodied carbon and definition of building systems.

02

Construction

General contractor, local workshop, industrialized assembly and quality control with the same data traceability on site.

03

Operation

Comfort monitoring (air, humidity, temperature) and energy performance to sustain the asset's value.

04

Deconstruction

End-of-life plan, component reuse and life cycle balance for circular economy.

Data and transparency

Open source as a productivity strategy.

Measuring carbon and life cycle requires reliable information: from the technical model to on-site purchases. That traceability is the foundation for flexible certification across standards and methodologies.

BIM with Speckle and Odoo administration turn each project into auditable information to measure, certify and improve.

On site, Odoo centralizes purchases, inventory, costs and contracts in a single flow — with data that the developer can review and that feed ESG reports (ESG) without duplicating spreadsheets.

Speckle links the coordinated model with design and assembly decisions; Odoo closes the cycle in administrative and operational management. We prefer open and replicable tools because they reduce rework and make project performance transparent.

Speckle · BIM

Coordinated model as the technical source: aligned participants, fewer conflicting versions between design and execution.

CCCS · Standards

Alignment with the National Net Zero Carbon Buildings Roadmap and life cycle methodologies, adaptable to the project.

ESG reports (ESG).

Carbon footprint, materials and performance documented in the same database — ready for certification according to the standard required by each asset.

Product names in descriptive text; they do not imply an official link with their owners.

Colombia · Net zero

Aligned with the National Net Zero Carbon Buildings Roadmap (CCCS).

We align projects with the Colombian Council for Sustainable Construction and the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Accelerator Project (AENCC), measuring the full life cycle to support country goals 2030–2050.

Objective: to experimentally demonstrate net-zero timber buildings — with data, iterative improvements and a verifiable path to certification, without rigidity regarding the methodology required by each standard.

Why

Construction requires availability, affordability and low impact at the same time.

We resolve the challenges that the conventional model usually treats separately: delivery capacity, competitive cost and lower environmental footprint in the same project.

  • 01
Availability — Reliable production capacity to close housing and equipment gaps in the territory.
  • 02
Affordability — Budget and timeline with less uncertainty, without giving up construction quality.
  • 03
Sustainability — Lower carbon footprint and circular economy as a project condition, not an add-on.
